Each sphere is made from strong gypsum with a smooth rounded surface that forms the base for the painted design. I use acrylic paint to create the mandala patterns and finish the surface with protective varnish.
The curved shape changes the way the pattern is viewed. Details appear gradually as you look around the stone, giving these pieces a different character from the small, medium and large mandala stones in the rest of the collection.
Because each design is painted individually, no two pieces are exactly the same.
