Each barkcloth crossbody bag in this collection is handmade by me, one piece at a time. I work with authentic barkcloth, a rare fabric made from the bark of the Mutuba tree in Uganda. This material is natural, renewable and produced without harming the tree.
These are not factory made accessories. Every bag is shaped, stitched and finished by hand in my studio, in small batches only. That means no mass production, no duplicates and no shortcuts.
