Boho for Life

Barkcloth is carefully peeled from the Mutuba tree in Uganda without harming it. The bark naturally regenerates, making it one of the world’s most sustainable and rare textiles. Recognized by UNESCO as cultural heritage, this ancient craft connects people and nature in perfect harmony.

Once harvested, the bark is softened with water and carefully beaten by hand until it becomes a flexible fabric. Barkcloth has a natural, fibrous texture and a slightly rough feel, yet it carries a warm, earthy color that makes each piece unique. What begins as tree bark transforms into a rare, sustainable textile full of character and soul.

Each piece of barkcloth is hand-cut and sewn into a truly one-of-a-kind boho bag. Every bag is designed individually, with colors and textures carefully matched to highlight the natural character of the material. The craftsmanship ensures durability, authenticity, and a timeless look that stands apart.
